Shirazamatazz and Moodometer made my black-book as well as Garbo's Storm (last race) who was caught wide most of the way from an outside barrier. |

Had a bundle on Desi, didn't realise he pulled up lame! Won't be on next run (will wait and see how he goes - playing safe) so I guess he will win  |
Cable Beach Club Sprint - Broome today
Main race today, should be a good race. The top 3 look look the main chances. I'm hoping San Simeon can make it a six-pack. Any thoughts?

Free At Last
A couple of runs that still stick in my mind - runner-up in the 2004 Fruit 'n' Veg and 2005 Perth Cup. With a bit more luck in running she could have added a further $330K to her kitty! Very unlucky the 2005 Fruit 'n' Veg as well!

Morocco Bound Four In A Row
Hats off to trainer Neville Newton in getting Morocco Bound back on track to win the Goldfields Tattersalls Club Cup for the fourth year running!

Amazing effort all around! Congrats to all concerned. |
Wrapt in the run of Scenic Assault Belmont Sat. This fellow strung together 8 wins in a row late last year & will be back on the winning trail before too long.

Dancing Tiger R.I.P.
Quote:
Just hate it when a thoroughbred goes out that way :( Dancing Tiger was originally with Fred Kersley where he was placed just once from 12 starts. Then joined the Cliff Smith stable and the rest is history. 10 starts for Smith for 4 wins, 2 seconds, 2 thirds and 2 fourths! |

Belmont Wednesday....
Race 1 the former Victorian galloper Giho is having his 3rd start in WA & has the services and claim for in-form jockette Jessica Hill. Race 4 sees another e x Victorian Verdiro having his 2nd start in WA. Is still a maiden and likely to need the run but from good stable (Wally Mitchell). Race 6 sees yet another former Victorian Criminal Intent. Failed first-up in WA but will be improved by that run. Same race sees the WA debut for Tiger Moon. The former NSW galloper hasn’t won for a while but was runner-up in a recent Belmont barrier trial. |
