Equal fastest trial of the day were both ridden by the pontiff, Attadale heat 7 , Wild Target heat 8.

Wild Target won his heat easily while Attadale just pipped the latest 'boom' galloper Seafarer.

Frank Maynard (Seafarer's trainer) had been advised that Seafarer must trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards before racing again after his disappointing effort Sep 9.

All 3 worth a follow.

At Belmont today our starters are Egyptology in the 1st. Buster’s Icon in the 2nd. Tribal Lover and Dashing Belle in the 6th. Darcy Vargas and Blue Tribu in the 7th.

Word is that Frank Maynard is setting Black Tom for the Moonee Valley Gold Cup and if he does well in that race, on to the big one!

Didn't do too well when he went to SA, trip to Vic certainly no easier!

At Northam Thursday Starlight Grey and Blue Tribu were runner-up @ 30/1 in their respective races.

At Belmont today Crossing Jordan saluted in the 2nd.

Not Complaining TOO much as I actually won today with 4 from 5 place bets and 2 from 3 win bets BUT, what happenned to San Simeon? missed the race so am a bit bamboozed????

Jessica Hill has been invited by the Moonee Valley Race Club to ride in an invitational race on Friday 13th October

She will be travelling over on Thursday 12th, riding on Friday night and then returning to Perth on Saturday morning for the $50,000 Apprentice Invitation Challenge (1400m) on the 14th, Belmont’s final meeting for the year.

The George Daly trained 2YO gelding Aztec Prince took the honours for fastest heat of the day. Won very easily, and with something in hand.

The promising Local Legend (winner of the Group III Darley-Hyperion Stakes back in April) ran the next best time taking out the final heat beating above average gallopers Annatazia and Scenic Shot.
