Excellent news westman! Will be much better suited Flemington than at Caulfield (first start in the east). Only got warm late in that race. |
grey matter wrap-up
At Ascot Saturday Our Solid Bond placed (20/1). At Albany Sunday Kenny Kenfair was runner-up in his race and Hearnster saluted at 10/1.

Trials for Lark Hill, Monday 30/10/2006 - Track: Good
Fastest heat winner was Star Laser just beating Zanella with the lightly raced Desiarnez 3rd. A particularly strong trial and the form out of the heat should hold up. Smart mares Kia Ora Miss and Another Commodore were just behind the place getters in this heat.
The second fastest heat of the day was run by Electic winning the final trial of the day, from Elsie The Eagle and Diamond Highway. Form out of this heat should aslo hold up. |

Thanks for that westman. Was out at Belmont that day, Raw Metal was going to be one of my bigger bets. Wasn't happy Jan when they announced it as a late scratching. Guess we will see it back at the track soon. |
Thanks for that Westman

At Ascot yesterday we had a number of non starters but Starofken did salute in the 5th and Metal Mayhem was runner-up in the 6th.

Thanks woodyman , appreciate the comments.
Some paid reasonably considering the small fields. Hope I can make the winnings stretch at least a few days over the carnival. |
Some nice work today Neiltown ;)
