Great ride Paul Harvey!
|
Yep, good effort No Questions. 3rd horse Scuffs good run for a 3YO.
|
A few good runs in the race, but what happened to the hot favourite?!
|
Re Local Legend, well it was theoretically held by Is Amazing but thought we'd get a better run than that. But I'm not giving up on it just yet. Just underestimated Harvey I guess.

Interesting race the next (R2) at Belmont. The generally disappointing Oroya Gold in the red again. Harvey & Pike mounts 10/1+
|
Quote:
Forgot the Duck, didn't I  Oroya Gold once again a beaten fav (ran 5th) |
Quote:
I've sacked Oroya Gold after today's dismal effort, no more for me! |
Quote:
Thought the jock could have ridden a bit better but no real excuse. I sacked the horse after he ran 3rd (odds on) in a 4 horse race late last year. Still amazes me how the punters still want to butter up! |

Not only the rank and file mate, Darren MaCauley had it as his top pick as did the late mail |
Oroya Gold
Quote:
Yeah, top horse, very unlucky, if you backed it yesterday, keep following :D |
watsonnek, never touched it ever and never will, I just noticed it was top pick of the so-called experts, and beat again!
Having said that it'll probably pop up at 20-1 soon hahaha! |

Nice work WRC to win the penultimate trial-heat at Belmont today over 1000m. Also looking well Desiarnez taking out the final heat. |
The Fred Kersley trained Paris Petard, Roman Time & Jestatune are back in work. Marasco is also coming along well & may have an exhibition gallop at a Belmont race meeting before his planned August resumption.
