Just rode another city winner at nice odds.

jake 15th July 2009 05:18 PM

Hi Sands. You might be getting Scenic Blast mixed-up with Takeover Target who just retired.

..did you back it hat?

MyHatMyCoat 16th July 2009 11:30 PM

Just a smidgin on it jake, wasn’t my main bets. Giving Campbell’s rides closer attention since he struck form in the city.

MyHatMyCoat 16th July 2009 11:43 PM

One to follow from Belmont Wednesday. Sweet Dane runner-up over 1000. In great form this prep, crying out for more ground.

Pleasing news. I thought he had retired as well.

Also pleasing to see Jarrad Noske back in the saddle.

Not had a good look yet jake. I'll get back to you.

MyHatMyCoat 19th July 2009 10:27 AM

Sorry jake, got side-tracked with a few things yesterday. I see Campbell managed a couple of places at whopping odds. No I didn't back them. In fact only a few bets yesterday, eastern states. I see Jarrad Noske also got amongst it.

jake 19th July 2009 01:16 PM

certain gold scr..had his others ew..made a tidy profit..so no complaints..

has a few rides today kal..best look to be..vaintrain..feelin dandy..premium..& intercode..

MyHatMyCoat 20th July 2009 12:34 AM

Quiet day for young Campbell today. Russell Hanson the jock-of-the-meet with a treble. His ride on Le Flirt particularly good.

schonegg 20th July 2009 02:49 PM

Hanson is a demon on that track Hat. I was on Jest on Time(3rd) and rode it well.

Rogan Josh 22nd July 2009 09:06 AM

Bit surprised to see the return of the promising 2yo colt Kid Choisir today (mid-week). Top weight in the opener. Does have a 3kg claim. Barrier 14. Can't see any trial form.

MyHatMyCoat 22nd July 2009 02:42 PM

Kid Choisir

Looks likely to go on with it, judging by the way he won.

Rogan Josh 22nd July 2009 04:11 PM

He won well. No trouble with the barrier. 2nd horse not a bad run. Daylight the rest.

Rogan Josh 22nd July 2009 04:40 PM

Miss Time looked pretty impressive winning the 2nd. Time was ok.

Rogan Josh 22nd July 2009 04:51 PM

BTW where's Paul Harvey?

MyHatMyCoat 23rd July 2009 11:46 AM

I think Paul was just taking a break with his family, back today riding at Northam.

Yeah nice filly. Looks like the break has done her well. Before spelling I remember her running 2nd to my top pick at the time Darntime. Hanging out for that filly to come back.

Didn't take long to get back in the winners list. Rode Just Kenny to an easy win. Was only a maiden but that colt did look good winning.

MyHatMyCoat 24th July 2009 07:54 PM

Paul Harvey

Rode a double in the end.

MyHatMyCoat 26th July 2009 12:07 AM

Promising sprinter Vizard put in a shocker today, in the listed Beaufine Stakes at Belmont. First-up after a spell, Vizard ridden by Paul Harvey, started equal favourite but was beaten 9.75lens in 2nd-last position.

When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, Harvey advised that the gelding raced in a flat manner. Trainer George Daly advised that the gelding’s performance indicated that it may not have fully recovered from its recent trial on 6 July 2009 and further it was now his intention to send it for a spell. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have an elevated heart rate.

schonegg 26th July 2009 10:54 AM

Ma Ma Machine spanked a good field in the Beaufine.

Also, 3 winners to Durrant/Kennedy combo, Kennedy just half ride behind Noske for top apprentice. Belmont Wednesday last metro meeting.

MyHatMyCoat 27th July 2009 09:42 AM

Ma Ma Machine has improved out of sight this prep. Has always shown signs of above average ability, now finally putting it all togther.

I had a tip jake, it was Brunello in R7. Finished a long way back near last! The money was spot on with Kim Star in that race.
Best win of the day was Hay List. Really looked to be trotting the last bit. Now won 4 from 4.
