Seems Hay List is back on track again, Hat. But trainer has decided to bypass Saturday’s Expressway Stakes and head straight to Melbourne.

Any thoughts Bunbury Stakes tomorrow, guys?

Phenomenons looks the one to beat imo, nosed-out in the Cyril Flower. Xaaravid no luck same race, likewise Hadabeclorka. Lie In Wait disappointing last start, may pay to forgive. Speccio drawn nicely. Changing Lanes my ew roughie.

Rogan Josh 16th March 2011 06:46 PM

So what happened with the York meeting today guys? Just the one race!

MyHatMyCoat 20th March 2011 09:25 AM

Hi RJ :)
Stewards declared the track unsafe for racing after the running of the 1st. Problems between the 400m and 800m.

Rogan Josh 23rd March 2011 11:16 AM

Cheers Hat. Thinking about it wasn't the York track shut down not so long ago!?

A couple of handy horses on the comeback trail after retirement, Marasco & Famous Roman. Marasco has apparently thrived in a paddock after he was retired last December & according to Fred Kersley looks as if he wants to race again. The Roma Cup on May 28 to be his initial assignment. Famous Roman's stud career has been put on hold, with trainer Jim Taylor launching an ambitious winter campaign, starting with Sunday week's $100K Northam Sprint.

jake 21st April 2011 01:52 AM

surprised at marasco comeback..last prep didn't do all that much..also getting on..

Top day for the sandgropers last saturday, Hay List & Scenic Shot both saluting!

MyHatMyCoat 30th April 2011 12:52 AM

Reports are that Hay List the early fav for the Goodwood will now miss that race & will head straight to Qld for a re-match with Black Caviar in the BTC Cup. Also talk that Hay List may then head to Singapore for the KrisFlyer International Sprint to be held at Kranji on May 22nd.

Rogan Josh 30th April 2011 05:27 PM

Hi Hat, how goes u? Read maybe same article re Hay List & KrisFlyer International. Not having to contend with JJ The Jet Plane makes it more enticing.

Rogan Josh 6th May 2011 09:37 AM

R u still with us Hat? ;)
Back to Belmont tomorrow. Do much better (punting-wise) at that track. Looking forward to loading-up!

Rogan Josh 22nd May 2011 09:59 AM

Wise move. Marasco well past his use-by date (at the top level) imo.
