No joy last week, expected Grand Nirvana to do better.

I see that Hay List WILL run in Newmarket, has 58.5kg but as we know, is capable.

Was particularly impressed with yesterday's win

Don't know why the extra long break but the half-sister to El Presidente has been back in work for a while now, placed in a trial earlier this month, due to go around at Bunbury this Sunday.

Big run RJ, settled at the rear, came home with a wet sail. Did you follow-up yesterday?

Rogan Josh 6th April 2012 05:01 PM

Yeah Hat, was on for the Pinjarra win, slightly better odds :)
Should have won last Sat as well. Put in another big run!

Yes jake, Barakey is back. Well underdone but still did it well. Looking forward to this campaign, should be by far his best.

Went pretty quick the middle stages, Brown gave him just a couple of hits in the straight to keep his mind on the job. Runner-up & 3rd since fought out an 80+ sprint. The Winterbottom must be a go this year I would imagine.

Champion galloper Northerly has died after a colic attack in his retirement paddock at Busselton. He was 15.

The gelding, who is recognised as WA's greatest racehorse, earned stakes totalling $9.3 million.

He won two Cox Plates, two Australian Cups and a Caulfield Cup for trainer Fred Kersley from 2001-03.

In 2003 he was crowned Australian Horse Of The Year and was later elected to the Australian Racing Hall Of Fame.

Not a good week, Vo Rogue also passed away, aged 28

MyHatMyCoat 10th May 2012 10:30 PM

A true Champion!

Luckygray back with a bang

MyHatMyCoat 30th May 2012 12:38 PM

Yeah was a HUGE run, goes extremely well fresh, so should go on with it.

rhino82 31st May 2012 03:49 PM

What happened Pinjarra today, just 3 races

MyHatMyCoat 4th June 2012 09:34 PM

Storms in the area, lots of lightning & thunder prior to race 4. Stewards decided to abandoned the meeting from that race onwards.

Making him work a little bit more for his next win, 61kg & the outside gate in the Belmont Sprint this Saturday.

MyHatMyCoat 13th June 2012 11:42 AM

No worries RJ ;)

Rogan Josh 16th June 2012 06:45 PM

Yep, another top effort Hat. Luckygray heading east at some stage?

The plan at this stage, Melbourne debut in the Lawrence Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on August 18.

Rogan Josh 25th June 2012 08:01 PM

Caulfield & over 1400 doesn't sound all that ideal for his east coast debut. Yet another good win on Saturday, Hyperion Stakes over 1600.
