Would you believe, Mr Moet will now head straight to the Caulfield Cup after a mix-up with the acceptances deadline left him out of the Herbert Power Stakes.
Mr Moet is equal 17th on the order of entry for the race.

Owners won't be too happy if the horse goes into the Cup underdone!

A bit of extra work since for Mr Moet, trainer Adam Durrant believes Mr Moet is a better horse now than when he was at his best last season.
Ethiopia also flying the flag for WA, WA owned & bred.

Nothing wrong with Mr Moet's run in the Cup!

Strange ride hoop on Barakey in the Winterbottom,,had his chance to lead (as per normal) but didn't,,as a result don't think we saw the real Barakey imo

Big run by Spirit of Boom in that race. Severely checked near the 600m but still managed 4th.

Brown rode to instructions as far as I know. Post-race, Barakey was confirmed to have had a virus after his failure in the Winterbottom and has gone for a spell.

Heading east after the spell, or just a rumour ?
