Looked in fine fettle on Saturday. Bumped & buffeted over the concluding stages, only beaten neck.

grizzle 26th May 2014 11:21 AM

Yeah, watched the race, unlucky. Ridden up on the pace as well.

Any news Barakey's future program ? Going east ?

MyHatMyCoat 28th June 2014 11:32 PM

I think they're taking it one race at a time, at this point. The Listed Goodwood Sprint (1300m) at Belmont Park in August, will be the initial target.

kumite 3rd July 2014 09:12 PM

Barakey is listed to trial on Monday at Belmont Park

grizzle 5th July 2014 05:51 PM

Ok, thanks kumite, wait & see the result

JB1 9th July 2014 08:06 PM

Barakey & Smoko both nominated for the Beaufine Stakes

Barakey ripped off part of the wall from his near-side front hoof in his last barrier trial. Recovering ok now.

grizzle 23rd July 2014 06:34 PM

Thanks Hat, that explains Barakey's absence
