Yes kiwiz. Delicacy set a modern day weight carrying record & Peters a unique trifecta. Also training quinella for Grant Williams. But as per my previous post, Delicacy pulled-up worse for wear.

Yes well, my observation was "WIN" at all costs and a bit of help along the way, nod nod, wink wink,...........not talking from a depleted pocket...... I backed it (in fact I took the tip, more nods)

Interesting to see if Perfect Reflection will still head east for the Australian Guineas at Flemington in March. Was to accompany stablemate Delicacy but that horse has since retired. Perfect Reflection so far 5 wins from 5 starts, including a win over Delicacy.

Hi Sandgroper. If you're not already aware, Perfect Reflection is now with Darren Weir, in Victoria. So all going to original plan.

Sandgroper 28th February 2016 06:02 PM

Did see your post Hat, thanks. First run east, no luck. 3rd in The Vanity. Early check, held-up 400m - 200m. Got home strong once clear. Obviously will be improved by that run, her first since early Dec last.

Trialing a WA system.Having one big bet today, Belmont r.8 h.7 Profit Street.

I don't usually bet WA, but noticed a trend I think is worth pursuing, hope it's not to the poor house as I can stop trains.:D

Pike looks to have the better book today
Warwick's best looks to be Cool Passion

MyHatMyCoat 13th June 2016 09:55 PM

Luckygray has been retired from racing. The 8YO raced only sparingly in recent times due to injuries, limiting him to just hand-full of starts since 2013.
33 starts :14-3-1 Prize Money $2,696,025 He is a triple Group 1 winner

Sands 17th November 2016 12:19 PM

One returns, another departs
Pike did ok returning yesterday, now Paul Harvey out, 26-day suspension, will miss a lot of the upcoming big races

Sands 17th November 2016 01:45 PM

Strange, don't see Pike at Northam today
Saving himself for the weekend?

kiwiz 13th December 2016 08:46 AM

Can't see any kiwis in upcoming Perth Cup (pity no longer a 2 mile event)
But I've noticed one we could try to claim
Kia Ora Koutou (greetings / hello to you)
Aussie born & bred,,equal fav in my market,,has the form

Sands 19th December 2016 03:10 PM

Perfect Reflection looked good winning on Saturday, first start over a bit of distance

Sands 20th December 2016 07:59 AM

Fathoms Of Gold (25/1) in the cup, almost stole the Ted Van Heemst on Saturday, leading by a considerable margin through the early and middle stages the race
Has to go extra distance but drops 5kgs whilst the winner, Perfect Reflection, goes up 3kgs

grizzle 24th December 2016 12:46 AM

looking at last years race, there's a few set to go around again
neverland & dark musket were the best runs on that occasion
