Winning double for apprentice Clint Johnston-Porter today including a nice long shot
Also placed on another long shot
Following an outstanding 2015-16 racing season, has gone a bit quiet of late, strike rate of just 6.7%
Maybe on the up and up

I read it was a very successful day. The course bookies were happy with the higher than expected turnover, and so too the TAB. I can't remember if they specified which TAB, if not all of them. I think it would be safe to assume the on-line betting agencies also had a happy day.

westman 11th August 2017 05:24 PM

The inside rail for tomorrow’s Belmont meeting will be moved from the true position to 15m, with a cutaway in the straight

Stewards & Perth Racing officials hope this will maximise the chances of the meeting going ahead, despite the prediction of further rain tomorrow
