Ellicorsam

Looking at Ellicorsam’s performance Saturday & comparing against last year, she carried the same weight (55.5kg) in last years Lee Steere winning in 1:21:32 This year she’s run 1:22:58 in finishing 6th. Whilst I understand comparing race times is not necessarily an accurate exercise it does indicate just how much Elli is away from peak fitness. The winner by the way (Avenida Madero) ran 1:21:91.

Bearing in mind there are around 6 listed / group races (1200 -1400) over the Ascot summer carnival to come, if Elli can stay sound I’m sure she’ll earn her share of the prize money.

ah well! live and learn ;)

Much improved race yesterday at Bunbury. Finished 4th beaten ¾ length. Looks to be coming to hand nicely following his 2 year layoff.

yeh finished 4th to Rapid Rancher who would you believe started 20/1 :D One of the little systems I follow - last start winner > 8/1 next start. Don't keep stats but I've had some handy collects ;)

5/9 is very good I thought. I usually aim for two a meeting as I am bad at tipping hahahaha.

Top effort AdrianLee! You mention aiming for two winners a meet. Let's hope this glut of winners doesn't mean that there's a couple of lean runs just around the corner but rather your average is on its way up! :)

Couldn’t agree more Placid Ark. And apart from the obvious black type races ahead there's also a couple of listed races just for fillies and mares that she could tackle.
