I'd be waiting to see how he goes in the C.B Cox before even considering a wager (on him) in the cup!

It's the second week of the Sky Channel Ascot Summer Racing Carnival at beautiful Ascot by the river. Today we have an action packed card with the W.A. weight for age championship, the Fruit n Veg Stakes. We also have the Colonel Reeves Stakes and the running of the Sir Ernest Lee-Steere Classic. This is the continuation of the lead up to the famous Perth Cup which at one stage had more prizemoney than the Melbourne Cup.

As well as Ascot, we also have the first meeting of the season at Esperance. Finally, we will watch a race which has a Perth Cup bound horse, racing by the name of Expunge. Let's see how Expunge goes.

There is a quartet jackpot on the Fruit 'n' Veg Stakes at Ascot. The quartet pool is expected to reach a massive $400,000 AUD so get your quartet tickets on now!
