Trip west for Expunge for the Perth Cup highly unlikely following his poor performance to run 7th when a heavily backed favourite at Sandown last Saturday. IMO was going to be a waste of time anyway ;)

Expunge's 3rd at Sandown 2400 in Nov was a top effort, best performance to-date imo, don't know what happened the weekend, most disapointing!!
