Kellmark gets a bye straight through to Cup day on the Tuesday.

Here is the draw for the first day of the finals which is Saturday, Derby day.

Percentum v Dillwar

Just a minor change to the betting rules used during the preliminary rounds. You can now post between 5 and 10 tips instead of 3-15 tips. The bet sizes remain the same as we've been using all the way through.

The person listed first in each matchup finished higher on the ladder, so they are given the "home ground advantage" of having 25% more to spend. The person listed first is allowed to bet between $125 and $250 while the person listed second gets to bet between $100 and $200. In each case, betting the maximum amount won't actually give you a better chance. Because I will simply be converting your total winnings back to a score out of 125 or 100 as the case may be.

The tipster in each matchup who posts second is only allowed to include one of the horses tipped by the person who posted first. Just to clarify this... The person who's listed 2nd doesn't have to wait around and post their tips 2nd. They can get in and post their tips first if they want to. But whoever it is that ends up posting 2nd in each matchup, they can only tip one of the horses that the 1st tipster has picked.

In the unlikely event of a tie, the match will be awarded to the tipster listed 2nd.

Sportz v Reded...

Reded's got one runner left in Perth. 7-5. The whole match up will be decided on that race. If it wins, Reded will almost certainly win. If it loses, I will win.

Percentum v Dillwar..

Percentum's tips have finished for the day with a nice profit. Dillwar has also gone pretty well so far, but he's got two races coming up in Perth, both short (5-5, 6-3) and they probably both have to win for him to have a chance of getting there.

The first of those two tips has just lost, so it's almost certain that Percentum has won that match up.
