speed rating selections Ascot Saturday
Sat 07 Jan 2006 R5 # 4 Our Selection. There are three reasons why I think this old boy can win. First, his figures are very strong, despite having been up this prep forever. Second, he looks to get a soft run in or near lead and can 'wind it up' from the 600m whilst his dangers are stuffing about at the tail. And third, 'Handbrake Turner' goes on today. Lets hope he lets it off today and gives this roughie every chance. Lets also hope I am not stark raving mad tipping a 9yo!
Sat 07 Jan 2006 R7 #1 King Wally continues to improve this prep despite his last 4 runs looking very similar. He was knocked off by nice 4yo Ser Grill last time when they raced along a bit (He returned a 105 that day compared to the winners' 104). They will probably run this hard again today, but he has at least a length on his rivals. $3 MINIMUM PRICE. Good punting, Chops ps you can see all of my past selections (that are going very well) at: http://cust.idl.com.au/chops/ |
