R8 Freedom Tower connections decided to bypass the C4 2000M at Bunbury on Wednesday for the C1 2000M today.

Dancrist and Desert Revolt both saluted! :) Paid $10.30 and $6.10 for the win on the WA Tab.

Watevi

Good to see Watevi at double figure odds bounce back on Saturday after his slightly disappointing run previous start over the 1600 journey. Took a pretty good one to catch him – Elsie The Eagle. The latter shows a lot of promise winning 6 of only 10 starts.

Elsie The Eagle

Not wrong Elsie The Eagle DCFC! a pretty good one indeed!!

Looked like Carbery had pinched the race (again) on Watevi but ETE unwound her characteristic finish to overhaul Watevi and win easily on the line. ETE being set for the Bunbury Stakes in the autumn so I believe.

There were some nice runs put in by the greys at Ascot Saturday steve.

Expect Grasspatch Girl and William's Steal to win a couple more over the next month or so. Real Halo and Moodometer nice runs for the future, particularly Moodometer ;)

Albany R6 Grove Hill Gold Coast maiden winner over 1400, two starts post spell in WA, last effort solid C1 at Mt Barker over 1200. C2 tomorrow but obviously fitter. Same race former NSW galloper Sky Hooks racing 2nd-up following a five months spell. At initial campaign in WA had three starts in the north of the state for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd all over 1200.
