Agree He's Smoking a top chance partypooper but do think Price Regal the one they have to beat.

With you on this one partypooper. All Keyed up very good second-up record and loves the 1400M. Kingston Classic might be a good value place bet. First-up record not all that flash but the smallish field shoud suit and should be blazing home at the finish.

..and the scratching of No Questions from race 5 is certainly a plus. Thought the filly a real good chance but will have to keep for another day.

True Steel In Fight For Life
 

For those they may not be aware True Steel crashed through the second last hurdle (at his hurdle debut) and was pulled out of the race.

It was originally thought True Steel may have sustained a serious injury, but on cooling down it appeared he had escaped virtually unscathed.

Well things have got worse! He is now fighting for his life at a Ballarat vet clinic after an apparent infection has caused his hind leg to well and truly swell.

Reported on high doses of anti biotics at the moment and is in a critical condition.
