Fastest heat winner Fleeting Angel ridden by the pontiff. The 4YO mare hasn't started since Feb. Ran 3rd in the Raconteur Stakes in Dec behind Secret Monarch and Homme. Scenic Assault was runner-up same heat, which was good to see. Scenic Assault pulled up lame last race start Grandstand Cup early Jul.

Carrallen Storm looked good taking out her heat. The mare hasn't started since April when she ran 2nd behind Gimme The News in the Albany Cup. Looks set for another solid first-up effort.

Shirazamatazz & Arctic Park have been included in my black book from Belmont Sat. Shirazamatazz the 2003 W.A.T.C. Derby winner has finally found his form & big run by Arctic Park after receiving a bump near the 100m in the Belmont Newmarket at 2nd start back.
