yeah hat..the gods were smiling..
the stewards were obviously very busy yesterday..

The stewards were very busy. Protest upheld Le Plunge (A. Kennedy) against Special Project (D. Staeck). No suspension or warning for Staeck. Thought that a bit unusual considering the interference was enough to uphold a protest.

Was going to have some on Strait Laced in the next Belmont. But too much tomato sauce for me! I'll just watch.

Unplaced yesterday, although was warming last bit. Has the bubble busted?

At Belmont on the weekend a couple of notable runs. Tudor Lad was very impressive, finishing sprint like a good one...

What did you think of Tudor Lad's run yesterday, schonegg? I didn't think he was going to get as close as he did, halfway down the straight.

schonegg 5th July 2009 05:15 PM

Hey Hat, a little disappointed in Tudor Lad but it was its first run at 1650m, maybe they'll drop it back to 1400m next time. The leader/winner ran a great race running good time.
The ride of the day to Shaun O'Donnell. From bar 15 had Spitfire Ice parked 3rd behind the two leaders shortly after the start!
