Attn Walkermac

I found this post interesting http://www.ozmium.com.au/forums/sho...80&page=1&pp=10

You have better knowledge than me when it comes to webpages, is it possible to use this similar code to login in to the nsw Tab site and upload a document to there batch betting section?

Not sure if you have an account with them or the vic version but it is located in the side panel under my account/batch betting.

Curious
It appears you're starting a new thread referencing an existing thread which is currently active
If so, why would you not post this entry in that thread?

Because it is a very old thread and the sites may be setup differently and i don't want to confuse one with the other.

I appear to have an account with them but it also seems to be locked due to non-use. Just poking around the homepage though and it seems clear to me that you'd have to use a different approach to what worked on the NZ TAB site (caution: I'm not as learned as I appear, most of my prior successes have been due to persistence rather than skill! ;) ).

The NSW/Vic TAB use a design that loads the page data dynamically. You need to "get at" the data before your browser makes it fit for human viewing. To do that you can use what is called a "headless" browser. I've used one called PhantomJS before. I've mentioned it a couple of times on the forum, here's a brief intro to it: http://www.ozmium.com.au/forums/sho...25&postcount=55

Actually, that thread's all about the TAB and automating betting. It might have what you're looking for - presuming it hasn't all changed in the meantime.

Cheers mate i will take a look, yes i think we both work like that, persistence pays off.
