RLW (runs since last win) lay system

I was testing this out manually a few months back with mixed results and was wondering if anyone else out there had look at this angle.

I just plucked the rules out kinda randomly but RLW for example:

- Horse has had 9 runs since its last win (or any figure)
- Divide that figure by 2, so e.g LAY if $4.50 or less.
- Keep max lay price around $7

I found it was better to leave out maidens as quite a few break their duck as favourites after a lot of attempts.

Strangely it through up some big $30+ winners which is neither here nor there.

Just one from left field guys.

Merry Christmas all!

I use the R.L.W. angle on the R+S website,
As a filter for my back system for a long time.

It is very useful in eliminating horses who are,
Top 1-5 for api w% pl% p/post etc.

Just a filter to cut out horses who rate well,
With me and pass most early qualifying rules.

Not sure as a lay system (i don't do that) but sounds logical,
Laying horses who have not won for a while?.

Would probably need subsidiary rules as well,
Price distance fld/size nos of starts age etc and how,
Many R.L.W. you are prepared to conceed before laying.

Cheers.
