6 WEEK SATURDAY TIPPING COMP. START SAT. 4th. FEBRUARY
 
Thought we might liven things up for this time of year.

Rules:

1.100 units every Sat. [any scratching carry over to following Sat.].
2. Straight win or place bets only.
3 Tip amounts can be 100, 50 or 25 units only [so you could have a 50 unit bet and 2x25, 4x25 or 1x100 or 2x50 etc.
4. Scoring is eg: $2.80 = 28, $10.80 = 108 etc.
5. All bets in by 2pm. sharp.
6. A missed Sat. carry's over units to following Sat. as with scratchings.
7. Late starters start in comp at zero.
8. 20 extra points awarded at end of comp. for every Sat. on top of ladder.
9. All prices Unitab.

Thanks guys. We need a lift to take us into the Autumn.

Also, you can have more than one win bet in the same race. Even e/w as long as the the bet amount is min. 25units win 25units place.

Let your imagination go. It can be a $1000 if you like !
However, for scoring purposes it is a dollar. I owe Mr Ed an apology. He was spot-on. We are talking about $100 dollars for a max. bet, so feel free to use $, units or just a number will do: w100.

My point about using units though had more to do with avoiding confusion regarding my scoring system in the rules. Simple and avoids a little extra work when typing up a list of results every week. So $ OK as a bet amount but the scoring will look different: $100 win @ $9.80 = for scoring:[w100/980]
