Seems incredulous that he can't win the WA horse of the year because one of the criterias is that a win must be in the home state in that racing season. Won 2 Group1s in Melbourne then a Group1 in the UK but ineligible for home state honours  Rules are rules I guess and Morton probably isn't fussed.
