Barrier 1
Mickey Rooney used to only back horses running from Barrier 1 or 2, o so the story goes, and he was supposed to have made a forune.
Roy Higgins was quoted as saying he’d take barrier 1 any day, even if it was the Melbourne to Warrnambool bike race.
Caulfield barrier 1 seems to do OK.
Q. How do you make a small fortune on the punt ?
