The best book on racing I ever read apart from WINNING MORE (author Don Scott) was
WINNING AT THE RACES
COMPUTER DISCOVERIES IN THOROUGHBRED HANDICAPPING (author William Quirin)
They are very old BUT as RELEVANT today as they were then.
Unfortunately I lost WINNING MORE and if there is a punter out there who wants to part with their copy you,d make an old man happy.
Cheers.
