![]() Hi LG,
I,m not you know. Though I did forget to post 1 other rule. Must have minimum 10 horses (If one were a fav bettor then I,d recommend 7 or less horse races.)

![]() Let me know how it goes DD
I'm not sure how I can see this system working based on a flat stakes making a significant loss. am I missing something? |

![]() These are the things I do in regard to this basic simple system.
Eliminate Races where there is a odds on horse; Any races here there are 3 + horses under $5 Races where there is a late scratching making the number of horses less than 10 I stick strictly to the modified "Kelly Staking" as do most good Professionals I dont do Night Races.. The ONLY drawback for most would be chained to the computer to get the best FIXED prices. The reason I do Races 1 - 4 is that I like to knock off early. Personally I dont know why people bang on about placing the same stake on every horse as a indication whether a system is good or not as every horse does NOT have the same winning chance. Cheers

![]() Dont know if it was just a fluke or not but I've done extensive research on "real" results, and compared level stakes to betting to the price i.e. bet to return $100, so $2 cance bet is $50, $5 chance bet is $20 etc etc.
The amounts were obviously different but over many, many selections when converted back to Profit on T/O, the outcome was almost identical? |

![]() Darkydog, this system has to lose the 18% takeout plus a little extra for the fixed odds.

Excellent demonstration there Partypooper, betting to price only works when the price is wrong. e.g. you're getting overs. Otherwise you will see the same end result as flat staking, or worse. In other words, all your profit will come from odds on chances having a good back to back run, and vice versa for losses. Betting to proven overs works because you're getting value, no matter what odds range. For example last year I backed Lewis Hamilton BEFORE qualifying in each F1 race. When he got pole position pre race, the odds were no longer overs. I could have layed the bet off, but I preferred to take the overs.
