There are "psycho" racehorses. It's becoming more accepted that these types of horses are affected by phases of the moon, especially the full moon. Add that one to you list Darkydog2002. I wonder if ratings apply any value to that? lol

I dont know about phases of the Moon but very few Trainers have the ability to pick the right race where their horse has a winning chance.

When you can isolate those few trainers who can, pay close attention.
DK Weir is one of the best as is Gai Waterhouse.

Cheers.

Looking at the spectacular results of this (Early asessed market i.e Paper prices) and betting to return $200 on $5000 Bank on $4- $10 chances (as well as the many Trifectas and 1st 4 it throws up the followers might like to throw a few of these in as well.
For myself I may concentrate on 10 Horse Fields after scratchings.
Any less than this and they would be lousy returns I feel.

You might also consider from R 5 onwards as well.

I post it here for your consideration.

Cheers.

$ 4 - $10 (Average 4 Bets per Race )

218 bets / 54 Races / Nett Profit $538.30

Highest Point Nett $1035

Lowest Point of Total Bank $5206.

Bank at this point was never in danger.

Will update at bet 1000

$4 + on R 5 onwards I dont have enough data nor for Trifectas or 1st 4

Cheers

Hi Snert,

This might interest you.
Experimenting with this at the moment so no figures as yet.
But when only 1 or 2 horses only in the race fit the criteria..............

Glad you like it .

Cheers

Solid going.

This is still your original $4-10 races 1-4?

Hi Thorns,

Yes it is.

For me I will bank the profit in a good interest bearing account and recommence with the original $5000 for another 1000 bets.
Only then will I consider compounding.

Trialling $5.50 - $10 which with limited bets 136 Profit $2139.50
(Not enough Bets to draw any conclusions though.)

Cheers.
