Hi Battler!
Have a look at a web site address : http://www.zip.com.au/~keeva/grq/forum/ and read the comments about the company you spoke of.

No matter how good any racing software is it must lose once too many punters use it on the tote. The tote is not a bottomless pit of lucre. There is no such thing as fixed odds trifecta payouts is there? In fact even less money is returned to punters than with win betting on the tote!
Don't believe anyone who tells you the tote pools are big enough. They are not. Only an extra 10 people betting the same trifecta combinations on the New South Wales tote will start to seriously affect any worthwhile payouts.
The only software that is worth considering is software which does not include the parameters. But who wants to buy that sort of software? It means input from the purchaser. That sort of software could well be a powerful tool, not a "money making machine." But from what I have seen of punters, that sort of software will not sell. Why? Because 99.99% of punters will only want to pay for a money making machine, not a powerful tool to use with their ratings etc.
Just think about it. Who seriously is going to sell you software for $5,000 or $10,000 where all you have to do is press a button to make a punting fortune?
There is a saying I always follow:"The greedy will be the needy."
Want to rush off and buy a money making machine?
