wondering if anyone has looked at the website phahorseracing.com their claim is that they rate horses using a maths formula and no form etc. interested to know if anyone has tried it. it is based on u s racing, but they say one of their formulas will work on aussie races. cheers bill

I applaud anyone who can actually read the entire document, I gave up after a while - to much noise and I can't see any logic to their system.

The amount of work one is putting into the thing one may as well do the standard Neurals for a similar result.

One could do something similar by just using the various columns
(or delete some columns you prefer to keep out) as shown in the Neurals, just focusing on the top 5 from anything
e.g. API , Place ranking, Pre-post, Win Ranking, Tipsters, Neurals ect.

Allocate 1pt for highest & shared highest ranking
2pts for second highest , & shared highest ranking ect.

Lowest total points, is the top selection, as per their format.

Whether this makes a difference, is anyone's guess.

In actual fact, this would be easy to code and all meetings for the day (after scratchings) could be done with the press of a button (add a second if you use VBA/Excel).

I see on another thread that Wesmip is running lessons using java - this would be an ideal project for those interested to learn coding with Wesmip.
