Default Professional Place Betting

Here's something that is bound to do very little damage if it doesn't live up to past results. However, past results say it's a goer as it takes advantage of a few factors.

Place betting is often seen as no value unless someone likes big odds horses to run a place or considering short priced all up bets. However, with the betting mediums open to us in this day and age, there is scope to make better profits place betting than win betting based on the bias of Betfair prices versus tab prices, providing the selections are solid contenders.
I've noticed that Betfair place prices are often extremely generous on hot pots for some odd reason compared with the totes, of course sometimes you do worse.

But looking into this, it seems that there is a distinct edge and a very high strike rate.

We can use this in every country, even in other sports with tweaking.

Here are the rules:

Horse must be prepost odds on.
Horse must have won last start, (first up is ok, but must have won it's previous race).
Betfair place market only.
Betfair place SP where given, or else the average weighted place price or last traded price.

There's more than plenty of action every single day!

With this method you don't need a bot or anything, just devote an hour a day to getting selections and placing bets and they can run while you work or sleep.
Those with other commitments can use place SP where offered.
I use place SP and only when I have spare time troll the place markets where SP isn't offered.
I don't think we are too far away from place SP markets everywhere.

Here are the selections for today, tonight and tomorrow:

Friday AUS
Melton Harness R5 Smoken Up
Melton Harness R8 Dieing Secret
Melton Harness R9 Spidergirl
Gloucester Park R8 Sensational Abbey

Friday UK
Bellewstown 19.25 Blackstairmountain

Saturday AUS
Rosehill R2 Your Song

*More will be added for Saturday.
**Place market Betfair only.

There seems to be this general perception that BF place markets are a wasteland when it comes to getting a little value but overall good prices are there.

Is this plan paying better than Bank Interest , or is it just something to do for people with too much time on their hands?

Give it a rest moeee. Chrome has put forward some information that I've not previously seen on here, and that's Betfair having decent place odds. It's different .....

I havent looked at place betting on BF but I'm not surprised by this. I have been laying for 14 months now and odds-on pops on BF have been a constant loser for me.

Place betting on odds-on horses...I have seen some amazing Place prices with Betfair on red-hot faves. The best I've ever got was $1.29 for a $1.04 NSW TAB divvy.

Chrome, I would not be surprised if your system has got legs.
