Why?

As they become more popular and more frequently used to rate horses, it stands to reason that the top rated horses will be more heavily supported = shorter odds. Most punters will use similar filters so the top rated horses will be consistent. I expect that these top rated horses will have an impressive strike rate, but will they have the odds to support punters consistently winning. The answer is no. The punter will conclude that maybe they just haven't got the filters quite right and will continue to tinker because he /she is ever so close to the HG (Holy Grail for the unwashed).

I've only ever been wrong once in my life and that was when I thought I was wrong!

Because it`s based on form & nothing but the form, you will find a high proportion of short payers ,whenever they get up.
This will be replected similarly with similar computer generated form services.

What one will notice is their top 5 produce 70-75% winners, which is the same for most of the other services E.G **************,Trackform,Pre-Post makets,Formline etc.

So , all one has to do is treat the races as a 5 horse field & pick the winner.

You would have to put a paper bag over your head so they cant see the cheesy grin on your muzzel ,when you go to pick up your winnings .

Easier said than done.

Trouble with that is that 75- 80 % of the winners in their top 5 will be UNDER their aseesed odds and will pay between $1.90 and $2.10 the win.
If your betting flat stakes your down the tube before you begin.

Not all the top 5 pay those divs, it`s the one at the top that does,so when it falls over, usually one of the other 4 gets up paying good prices, the trick is ,you still have be able to pick the winnering one out of the top 5 ,if too short ,no bet.

It`s not easy .
