Talking of greyhound races only, there is a site that lists the best tipsters media or pro and some of the media tipsters have very respectable records.
Sort of money in the bank type. Getting the tips is the hard bit.

Started watching someone on this place due to someone saying he was the best..
So decided to take note from 7th'7 (when he came back from holidays) to 31st'8
Nsw he does - sat metro & prov tracks give a miss

Mid wk metro 7 wins from 15 races, 3.50+
Country- 26w from 81races, 9.40+ (includes a 11.70 winner)

Another site I'm also watching - a UK that gives Aussie tips. Looking at their Nap & 2nd best only
25'6 - 10th'9.
Saturday & Country give a miss
Vic Tracks 48% st, 35% pot
Nsw Tracks 52% st, 14% pot
Mid Wk Metro Nsw only- 6 wins from 9 races 3.20+
other states good for place

Cant disagree with anything you wrote.

Cheers.

CP To my shame, I don't. Have a vague recollection of the name but that's all.

Before I developed my own programs I was relying on N Y and Taylor for assistance. Later I discovered greyhounds and stuck with them ever since.

Still rate every horse race daily and if I find something outstanding odds wise I bet heavily.
Works OK.

Hi all,

Recently I have been using media tipsters to price Saturday races in Melbourne and backing the overs, if the rated price is under $10, with some reasonable success.

I use Melbourne Herald Sun, Sportsman, Melbourne Race Caller's tips, and three other websites to give 15 selectors. I use their 4 tips per race (4-3-2-1) to give me a total of 150. Sometimes the totals are less than 150 with scratchings meaning alternative selections are not available.

Recent winners are

22/7 rated $6.52 dividend $11.00
22/7 rated $6.00 dividend $8.00
22/7 rated $4.41 dividend $4.80
22/7 rated $8.82 dividend $9.50
29/7 rated $8.12 dividend $10.00
05/8 rated $3.36 dividend $5.10
05/8 rated $4.84 dividend $6.00
05/8 rated $3.74 dividend $4.20
05/8 rated $4.29 dividend $4.60
05/8 rated $2.85 dividend $3.30
05/8 rated $6.82 dividend $9.00
12/8 rated $3.85 dividend $4.20
12/8 rated $4.17 dividend $5.50
12/8 rated $5.56 dividend $6.00
12/8 rated $6.48 dividend $7.00
19/8 rated $4.69 dividend $7.00
19/8 rated $3.97 dividend $5.50
19/8 rated $3.41 dividend $4.80
19/8 rated $5.42 dividend $6.00
19/8 rated $3.47 dividend $3.60

I have results unto 09/9 with a POT% 15.5%

Does anyone think this result will continue??? Generally I put the bets on to collect $X based on one websites "opening price" but will include horses if prices are available as we get closer to race time.

Any one want to comment?

Thanks TTA

I have always believed that the best Tipping site was the Bookmakers OPENING Price.

If one could get 20 % more than the opening quote BUT bet the horses at the opening quote (ala Don Scott) you would probably do very well

What Price range one concentrates on is optional.

Cheers

I think that is the crux, really everyone here is still here cos they have found something, of course you are not going to give it away?
