Default Metro System

Barny with your 12 years of data are you able to run me a little test of a mechnical system I used to use.

I looked at Metro racing in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane only
Must be API = 1
Age is a 5 or 6 year
Win % must be over 26% and the place below 50% (i'll give my reasons later if this has held up over the test of time)
Weight = 55kg to 59kg and last margin is less than 5 lengths.

Summary below:

Vortech Metro Rules
Venue: MSB
Age of Horse: 5 - 6
Horse Win %: 27 - 100
Horse Place %: 0 - 49
Weight to Carry: 55.0 - 59.0
Last Start Margin: 0.0 - 5.0
Av Prizemoney Rank: 1 - 1

One bet a month. Not a lot of action.

Enjay I've got a few of these systems since stored away on my other PC.

Are you happy for me to send them through to an email address in return for you to test for me.

I'm happy for you to use the systems - as long as they are not published in a commercial sense.

I'm sure a couple of years ago you did some testing for me when I was twisting and tweeting a couple of old systems from other commercial products.

In the end these systems were never going to hold up into the future.

Are you still punting on the Radio TAB or move onto some fresh system ideas?

I'll reboot the old bad boy up and send you through some of the system changes I have on file.

Basically I'm looking for any sort of consistent results.

I get a POT of 64.81% on seln's of 79 for 25 winners

Looks good, it's typical of the system results I get. Very few bets which some on here don't see as proven system.

Barny, with your systems - out of interest:

Obviously they make a profit long term 12 years.

Does the system/s make a profit each year of testing?

The reason I ask is I see a lot of systems making profit for say a period 2006 to 2012. But when tested between 1999 to 2005 the results aren't very good.

This can either mean one of two things -
a. the system is backfiltered over a good period of time (6yrs) and could turn into a loss if used into the future
b. or racing has seen a change and punters are betting differently in the second period of testing and hence - the POT may continue.

PS: During the period of testing for 2006 to 2012 - each year saw a profit not just a large profit one year and small loss the following year.

Whats your thoughts and others?
