Default Class Values

Hello,

My first post and any help from the Ratings Gurus greatly appreciated.

I've just started compiling Class Tables as per Don Scott, but modified to take into account any new classes
since his books were published. Currently I'm working my way through W.A.

My question pertains to 3YO Listed and Group races. As a general rule-of-thumb, how many kilos above a standard
3YO Open should I add for these races? On a kilo basis, what races would a 3yo Open & 3YO G1 roughly equate to
in the Open Age scale (say at the end of the season in July).

Many thanks,
Soho

One outfit rates an Autumn 3YO GP2 4kg above a 3YO Open.

I don't use class tables (from a book) so wouldn't know how accurate that is.

Perhaps you could look up a few free ratings at

www.ozeform.com

for (say) Eremein or any other 3YO which ran handicaps as well as the Group races, and deduce race ratings from that.
