Wink Testing an Each-Way Method.

I have been betting a system for about a week and its doing very well. However, my problem with betting as opposed to laying, is that I quickly lose interest.

If this method is successful I will most likely continue with it, or even reveal the simple rules privately.

Two selections today:

Belmont
4/4
5/2

Yesterday was a disappointing day. There were no winners but one placegetter which paid $1.30.

Three selections today:

Kilmore
8/5

Northam
6/2

Rocky
6/3

Broome
1/1
5/2
6/4

Toowoomba
5/3

Dombeen
3/1
4/5
6/12
7/3
8/8

Not a bad result for the first day of the amended method.

From the 13 selections there were 8 winners for a NSW TAB profit of $11.50 but 9 placegetters for a loss of $0.20.

Interestingly it got the Dombeen quaddie of $139.

Yes, well done, but for the Doomben quaddie you don't have race 5 down on your tips.

Thanks, Ocho. I noticed it this a.m. and was going to mention it when I posted today's selections but you beat me to the punch. The Dombeen winners were races 4, 6, 7, and 8.

I also listed Caulfield R4 no.1 but was in two minds whether to include it or not because it was resuming from a spell. There were no resumers since betting began for the method so I decided to take the risk by including it - unfortunately it was unplaced.

Today's selections are:

Hobart
4/4
5/2
6/2

Taree
3/7
4/1

Narromine
4/6

Kalgoorlie
2/1 (providing there are no scratchings)

Geraldton
4/2 (providing there are no scratchings)
6/1 (providing there is a minimum of 8 runners)

There would be another selection but because it is resuming from a spell I will omit it. As a matter of interest it is:

Hobart
8/4

From today's 8 selections there were 4 winners for a profit of $1.70, and 5 placegetters for a loss of $1.70. The method broke-even on the day.

For the second successive day I was in two minds about a selection. Taree R4 no.1 resumed from a spell at its previous start and I was undecided if to include it today as a selection. Unfortunately I did, and it was unplaced so from now it becomes a filter.

As a matter of interest I'm looking at another method, a Place method, and it's also a filter in this method. There were 2 of these selections today and fortunately (especially for my TAB account) I did not bet them - they were both unplaced.

Today's sole selection won paying $2.00 and $1.10.

Since posting the selections here from last Saturday there have been 13 winners from the 22 selections for a NSW TAB profit of $14.20 (a POT of 64%) but 15 placegetters from the 22 selections for a loss of $2.00. However these results include 2 unplaced selections which updated filters would now eliminate them.

So far so good...at least it keeps me interested in the system.
