Neural spotting
Anyone else notice Ballarat Race 6 today No. 4 has a Neural rating of 509 which is by far the highest I can recall seeing.
The horse is Maldivian (by Zabeel) and not showing favourite at this stage (and XPT Driver only has it rated as 2nd after the current prepost fav). Its a maiden race and its form in only 2 starts looks interesting - might be worth checking out - I might even have a small punt on it. After the result will again contemplate the mystery of how the Neural ratings work (or don't work as the case may be. |

Well even if it only did pay $1.90/$1.30 (Vic TAB) -it did win quite impressively, even though drawn barrier 17 (14 after scratchings), although according to recent debate this isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Anyway you can trust the neurals sometimes - this looks a good horse worth following. Kenny Victor don't give up on them. |
