Wink

Today my laying had a very good day because most of the the faves in my races lost.

However, my qualifying Lay races are generally of 11 and more starters, and more often than not my worst result is if the fave wins the race.

Glad you had a good day Mark, I just can't get my head around Sundays.
The favourite strike rate was 30.30%, whereas Saturday was 27.10%

Hi Mark,
Is there a reason why Sportsbet goes around closing people accounts?

As you have stated , they have closed 5 accounts of yours.

Question

Have you tried Tom Waterhouse if his products,

Suit your style of betting.

When my account was closed with sportsbet i went to,
Him and the only thing that happened to me was he banned me from placing bets over the internet but was free to place them over the phone.

Something to do with phone customers they tend to bet back into,
The tote pools but internet customers they don't bother that much with.

They didn't tell me that officially have heard that on the grapevine,
so can't confirm have heard Luxbet aren't to bad,
But i have never bet with them maybe some others can relate.

Again it comes down to what products are offered and does it suit you.?

Cheers.
Garyf.

All they ever do is quote their rules which state they may close or restrict any account at any time and give no reason, and they are protected by the toothless tiger that is the NT Racing Commission. I know because when it first happened I put in a written complaint. They took approximately a month to reply simply requoting Sportsbet. The whole system is a disgrace and a joke.

I thought you were a lay bettor Mark? Why would you therefore need backing accounts?

garyf, have never tried TW as he doesn't bet fixed odds on all races and always seems to be unders. What's the story with stopping people from betting over the net?, I thought iwas a net based business, seems strange.

I had an a/c with Lux but they are chronically unders and have a nasty habit of reducing the price after a bet is confirmed.

Arbing, The Ocho, arbing, there are some fantastic opportunities to be had.

Sportsbet "kindly" offered me their tote odds, yeah great why don't I just flush my money now.

Fair enough.

I actually joined for the best of 3 totes options.
As with my betting and my rules i usually bet late,
As thats the way my cutoffs etc are designed.

Impossible for me at home betting 7 days a week to get,
Top fluctuation if the 3 totes are short and the fixed odds are longer,
As a rule of thumb i wait till the very 1st time the horse shortens,
Then place my bet.

Not sure why the phone only was introduced as i stated,
I think he tends to put winning punters to the phone option,
So he can bet back into the tote pools from time to time,
Probably to get the commission.

The losing punters on the internet maybe he doesn't worry about,
"BUTTTTT" i could be wrong no official explanation given.

It was either that or go elsewhere not a big deal for me really.

Cheers.
