flem drag- horses that dont run well on the straightaways at flem but have shown to be good closers on the turns. ill play them when they go to a turn race.

mv angle- because being the shortest stretch in australia. closers have a tough time winning. so if theyve shown to be pretty consistent closer previous to running at moonee valley ill play them at the next track when they leave moonee valley or give them a 2nd chance if they stay for another shot at moonee valley.

usually theyll be good odds after the bad runs so i hope on them. flem drag has been working better then mv lately. its just harder to gauge speed and timing when your on a straightaway compared to a turn race.

thanks for the additional info..pharfromoz..re mv angle..
now see where you're coming from..although not sure the merit of a 2nd chance play..
would you give closers a better chance at mv..if drawn wide or not?

definitley an outside draw and favorable.being stuck on the inside at moonee valley coming off the pace is suicide.well in large fields, small fields do open up on the rail because of the tight turn turning into the stretch. 2nd chance all depends on the price.
