Surely if i picked first, then there was a scratching, my sub WOULD become one of my 4 main picks

I think there are enough horses out there for us to pick 6 others

Sportz,

From this rule here...

{If anyone misses out on tipping one round over the first 5 weeks, there's an extra day where you can post tips for that round.
This is called the second chance round. If, for some reason, you miss out on tipping one of the first 5 rounds, you have another chance on Mar 12 (Adelaide Cup day) to post tips. (((To be fair, your opponent would also get another chance to tip on that day and improve on their original score.))) After round 5, if you miss out on any week's tipping, then it's just bad luck.****

I took it as my score from monday would be added to my original score. Another words best over the two days.
Thanks

Great bit of account-keeping from what I can see! From the Goldcoaster v Stix clash they both get credited one win

Ooops. Sorry. I obviously didn't explain myself well enough.

By improve on your original score, I simply meant that you could get a better score than you got the first time around. So, in effect, I DID mean that it would be your best score over the two days, but not a total score of the two days combined.

I'm VERY sorry about this mate. I can see how you might have thought that, and I apologise for how it's turned out. I think I'll definitely be ditching the idea of a catch-up round for the next comp (if there is a next one). As it is, luv2bet obviously didn't even know it was on, because he didn't tip again! Oh well, I thought it looked like a good idea at the time.

Geez, this is turning out to be a tough comp to run all of a sudden.
