Default grey matter

Rich Ken (2nd), Amsterdam Café (4th), Electic (5th), Wire Detonator (7th) and The Black Cigar (8th) make up a smallish group of greys at Ascot tomorrow.

Thumbs up thanks WA

Been lots of value this ‘west oz’ thread and predecessors (there’s been a few!) Thanks to all those that have provided input over the years. I frequent a handful of other forums on a regular basis – a west oz thread like this just doesn’t exist anywhere else.

Geez! the off again on again sale of Plastered seems to be OFF FOR GOOD.

The latest - potential controlling owner Wayne Barber has called the whole thing off after Plastered diagnosed in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago with a category 3 (serious) respiratory problem has now been diagnosed in Perth with a category 4 respiratory problem.

The future for Plastered? Well Lindsey Smith is pushing on with the Ascot summer carnival in mind but an operation to help rectify the problem hasn't been ruled out.

If they do continue on with summer carnival plans for Plastered there’s sure to be a large swag of sentimental money for him so you’d hope appropriate racing authorities would ensure he is sound enough to run before letting him do so.

Question Plastered

Interesting dilemma! On one hand a big boost in public interest if Plastered IS part of the summer carnival and on the other hand looking after the interest of the general punting public with their hard earned on him when he races.
