Default Eight Thorns and Launay Salute at $3.20 each

2 winners and a second from 3 runners yesterday for a very tidy P.O.T. Being the genius that I am I decided to watch them go around - ha ha

Runners for the 11/02/10

PARKOUR ****: Coat Wellington Race 7 at 05:25 Brett Cavanough Andrew Bloomfield
Career:9-2-0-0 $17,375 Good:2-0-0-0 Dead:6-2-0-0 Slow:1-0-0-0 1st-up:4-1-0-0 2nd-up:3-1-0-0 Won 1200 to 1218
Has been transferred to the Brett Cavanough stable after previously racing for Moody. Drops from 1400m to 900m. Has won previously over 1200m. Might get a price. Have a nibble??

KATISAM ****: Denise's Diamond Wyong Race 4 at 03:05 Anthony Cummings Grant Buckley
ELLEHRO ****: Body And Soul Wyong Race 6 at 04:22 Clarry Conners Tommy Berry (a0)
Career:2-0-0-0 Dist:1-0-0-0 Good:1-0-0-0 Heavy:1-0-0-0 1st-up:1-0-0-0 2nd-up:1-0-0-0
First up since August. Your guess is as good as mine. Failed to fire in two career runs to date.

ELLEHRO ****: Body And Soul Wyong Race 6 at 04:22 Clarry Conners Tommy Berry (a0)
Career:13-1-1-3 $13,500 Dist:1-0-0-0 Track:2-0-0-1 Good:7-1-0-0 Dead:2-0-0-1 Slow:1-0-0-0 Heavy:3-0-1-2 1st-up:3-0-0-0 2nd-up:3-0-0-1 Won 1400
Won last start at Nowra over 1400m. Steps up to 1600m. Looks a pretty weak race, so should have a chance. Has run within a length at Newcastle over 1500m. The topweight in the race has class but hasn't won over the distance.

Default 0 from 3 on Thursday 11/02

One 3rd to Parkour yesterday was all that the Lohnro troupe could muster. Katisam started at over 50/1 so was probably never any chance at all and looks like it doesn't have much of a future at the moment. Ellohnro didn't place and looks country class at best.

One runner today 12/02/10:

EYE OF BRAHMA ****: Roedean Canterbury Race 6 at 05:01 Gai Waterhouse Blake Shinn
Career:4-0-2-1 $12,110 Dist:2-0-1-0 Track:2-0-0-1 T/D:1-0-0-0 Good:1-0-0-0 Dead:1-0-1-0 Slow:1-0-0-1 Heavy:1-0-1-0 1st-up:2-0-1-0 2nd-up:1-0-1-0
Lots of places so far. Corey Brown replaces Blake Shinn, who by all accounts gave the horse a terrible ride last start. Being by Waterhouse no doubt there won't be much of a price available.

There is an abundance of Lohnro's running tomorrow so lookout!!

Default Runners 16th of Feb

For some reason my message didn't save from earlier today. There was only one runner and it didn't place so no real loss there.

Runners for 16/02/10:

LONHROSON ****: Palme D'or Hawkesbury Race 3 at 02:40 John O'Shea Hugh Bowman
Career:5-0-0-0 $1,780 Track:1-0-0-0 Good:2-0-0-0 Dead:3-0-0-0 1st-up:2-0-0-0 2nd-up:2-0-0-0
O'Shea trained, Bowman has stuck with him. Will need to pull something out of the bag in what appears a VERY ordinary race.

SHADOWCAST ****: Visual Displays Hawkesbury Race 8 at 05:45 Michael, Wayne & John Hawkes Timothy Bell (a2)
Career:5-0-0-0 Good:5-0-0-0 1st-up:4-0-0-0 2nd-up:1-0-0-0
Is the emergency for the race. In 5 starts so far he's been beaten a combined 83 lengths. Has a two kilo claiming apprentice onboard, would probably need to claim about eight to ten kilos to have a chance. Trained by team Hawkes. Sometimes Saturday racing seems SO far away!!....

Default Wash out

Hawkesbury was abandoned so no action for the Lonhro's on the 16/02.

Todays runners are:

SANGFROID ****: Preserve Mornington Race 3 at 01:00 Peter Snowden Danny Nikolic
Career:10-2-2-2 $48,893 Dist:3-2-1-0 Good:5-1-1-2 Dead:1-0-1-0 Slow:3-1-0-0 Heavy:1-0-0-0 1st-up:3-1-1-1 2nd-up:3-1-0-0 Won 1200
Won two starts ago in a similar class at Sandown. Has won at the distance.

ROWLAND ****: Paris in the Fall Mornington Race 4 at 01:35 Robbie Laing Matthew Allen
Career:11-1-2-2 $24,917 Track:1-0-1-0 Good:5-1-0-1 Dead:5-0-2-1 Slow:1-0-0-0 1st-up:4-1-0-0 2nd-up:3-0-1-1 Won 1600
Won first up and has been consistent without winning since.

LONCHERO ****: Cherine Warwick Farm Race 1 at 01:17 Gerald Ryan Tye Angland
Career:1-0-0-1 $6,650 Heavy:1-0-0-1 1st-up:1-0-0-1
Excellent run on a Saturday to start it's career. Will be right up there in the betting. The 1300m distance looks ideal.

ANSCHLUSS ****: Excited Angel Warwick Farm Race 7 at 05:00 Peter Snowden Timothy Bell (a2)
Career:6-1-1-1 $24,935 Dist:1-0-1-0 Good:1-1-0-0 Dead:3-0-0-1 Slow:2-0-1-0 1st-up:3-0-0-1 2nd-up:2-1-0-0 Won 1500
2nd-up today. Average run 1st-up, won last prep 2nd-up in a Newcastle maiden, though on a good track. I'd prefer to wait for a dry surface.

Wow, not even a place yesterday from four runners.

Let's have another crack.

Runners 18/02/09:

EYE OF BRAHMA ****: Roedean Canterbury Race 4 at 08:30 Gai Waterhouse Blake Shinn
Career:5-0-3-1 $16,025 Dist:1-0-0-1 Track:3-0-1-1 T/D:1-0-0-1 Good:2-0-1-0 Dead:1-0-1-0 Slow:1-0-0-1 Heavy:1-0-1-0 1st-up:2-0-1-0 2nd-up:2-0-2-0
Waterhouse is backing him up after a week. Stepping up to 1550 where he came a 1 lengthh 3rd last prep. Should they change its name to Bridesmaid?

PURDEY ****: Walnut Canterbury Race 7 at 10:00 Peter Snowden Kerrin McEvoy
Career:10-2-2-2 $125,745 Dist:4-0-1-2 Track:3-1-0-1 T/D:2-0-0-1 Good:4-0-2-0 Dead:4-1-0-2 Slow:1-1-0-0 Heavy:1-0-0-0 1st-up:4-0-1-1 2nd-up:3-1-1-1 Won 1100 to 1150
Last two starts have been wins. Might struggle to see out the 1250 if you look at his distance stats - Dist:4-0-1-2.

SAINTHOOD ****: Bonne Famille Canterbury Race 7 at 10:00 Rick Worthington Nathan Berry (a1.5)
Career:8-2-2-1 $55,130 Dist:4-1-1-0 Track:1-0-1-0 Good:2-0-0-1 Dead:3-2-0-0 Slow:1-0-1-0 Heavy:2-0-1-0 1st-up:3-0-1-0 2nd-up:1-0-0-0 Won 1300 to 1600
1st up, no trial. Won 2 races at it's 3rd and 6th starts from a spell last prep.

INNISHBEG ****: Hidden Savings Port Macquarie Race 7 at 04:54 David Atkins Alison Threadwell (a2)
Career:11-4-1-2 $50,390 Dist:5-2-0-1 Good:5-2-0-1 Dead:2-1-0-1 Slow:4-1-1-0 1st-up:4-2-1-1 2nd-up:2-0-0-0 Won 900 to 1200
won 1st-up, 2nd-up record isn't flash 2nd-up:2-0-0-0, however one run was at Newcastle and the other at Randwick.

At present the Lonhro's have been excellent lay propositions, starting very short and not winning. Let's hope the tide turns and SOON!!

Default The wheels have fallen off......

Morning all,

What a weekend ahead! The Huss is back and I for one am excited!!

Career:9-1-0-1 $8,150 Dist:6-1-0-1 Track:4-1-0-1 T/D:3-1-0-1 Good:7-0-0-1 Dead:1-1-0-0 Slow:1-0-0-0 1st-up:3-0-0-0 2nd-up:1-0-0-0 Won 1350

Default Apologies

My blackbook didn't send through the Lonhro runners so no action today as I'm time poor.

Best of luck with your investments!!

inner sanctum .....
Denman is just so gorgeous (just like a girl eh) Saw him have a shower as it was pretty hot, and he was nibbleing the strappers hat, then rested his head on his shoulders, just so relaxed, so beautiful, so much like his Dad, he even did the Stop...look around bit... the strapper couldnt move him in the mounting yard until HE was ready to go , after everyone looked at him. It was greyt, when he won everyone clapped him, and again when he came back, it was just terrific to be there... Couldnt believe when McEvoy came out, the silks looked like they had just come out of the suitcase, there were creases everywhere !!! They have enough $$$ to throw them away (ha ha) and have new silks every race !!! I
