Well I'm only a small fry here[WA], but I picked Shy Wild in one tip only [no one else did] :-)

Default Ventured West

Bunbury yesterday…

Race 5 yesterday Escondijo got up at juicy odds paying (unitab) $40.80 win $7.90 place! The 4YO mare and former NSW galloper had previously raced twice (unimpressive) and trialled twice (ok runs) in WA but the important factor yesterday was the removal of blinkers – this type of gear change (along with wearing blinkers first time) is always worth a serious watch (imo) when it occurs.

Race 9 saw the return to the west of Captain Woodrow. Starting fav just got up to win (shd). The WA bred son of Metal Storm last campaigned in Victoria where his best result was a 2nd at Moonee Valley in October last year.

Exclamation blinkers off?!

blinkers removed..now that's a switch!! normally pay close attention when blinkers go on 1st time..especially if I'm able to verify trialled or worked well with that gear change...can't recall blinkers off too many times..I'll have to pay more attention...cheers!

No fun from the grey brigade at Bunbury yesterday with Antofagasta (4th), Ascot Inn (unplaced) and Our Solid Bond (scr).
