Sunday 29th January 2006

Racing WA Bunbury:

CR1 Number 2 China Visit 1:20pm

Nice type, should run a good race here. I am following this horse because I have planned to visit China for many months now, and all of a sudden a horse is set to begin it's career with the name of China Visit. What an omen.

Arrow Belmont trials today

The unraced neddy Johnnie Roucke was responsible for the fastest trial today at Belmont. Ridden by Jason Brown the son of Scenic won in a canter.

Other notable performances included the unraced 2YO Oroya Gold (trained by Danny Morton), handy country class stallion Master Vision and the above average Volition whose last win was the listed Belmont Guineas in June last year.

Elsie The Eagle was not extended same heat to run a close 2nd to Volition. Elsie The Eagle had to trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards following her late withdrawal at the barrier at Ascot Jan 21.

Liked Stitching too okay run for third but thought a bit disappointing
Winner Mr Tyson went well with blinkers first time, worth following
