Default Another to follow

Was first starter Saytorio, from the Durrant stable. Found the early speed a bit fast, but finished full of run, the last bit was real good.

..all or most of her early races..ridden for speed..huge improvement now settling back in the field..

Smile Good racing at Ascot, and keeping an eye on Sir Hallowell in Sydney

R2) Best backed early Sacred Crown 4.4 -> 3.6 in a tricky race. Possibly Avante can swoop home late.

R3) Best backed Highest Honour 5.5 -> 3.8 in a race of speedy types. Classofherown had a gun run last time(1st up) and did nothing. Back to better suited 1000m, will be near last early, can finish over the top in a race of chances.

R5) Don't like Taharka so a Lay.

R6) a Listed 3YO race with a couple of Derby hopefuls. No tip. Pike on Morant is the hot favorite and the distance looks to suit. Trainer Jim Taylor has a big opinion of Dampier Dayz, might attempt to lead.

R8) Jockey Whiting had a choice between Tudor Lad and Moccassin Bend and chose the later, even though the former(with Pike) is the favorite. Best tip is to include non-winner Hide the Loot in all multiples, will get back and run on late.

Very good run today Jake. Made a strong run in between runners then hit a brick wall about 75m out and Parnham had to ease it to a jog.

Interesting news re WA boom galloper Hay List trained by Jim Taylor. Still heading east despite recent injury set-back but will be prepared by former WA trainer John McNair now based in NSW. Seems other stablemates owned in same interest are also leaving Jim Taylor stables.
