Best of luck to trainer David Edwards and connections of Mr Sandgroper as MS commences his 2nd eastern states campaign at Moonee Valley tomorrow. Will no doubt be all the better for the run on what looks to be an unsuitable track. MS’s best run last campaign was a fast finishing (and unlucky) 2nd behind Modem in the 2004 Railway Stakes.

Forget the last run put in by Hotel Casuarina - lost ground when attempting to buck early in the race (saddle slipped). First race win was at Kal so OK the track. Nice weight and now race fit. Wide barrier the only worry. Tough race though!

I didn't mind the look of Chenille Prince it is drawn wide but it is dropping in weight here and has to be conceded a chance at it's odds.
