La Montagna WON the Stradbroke, Chuck. In 2006. I know. I backed her!

She hasn't done a whole lot since then, but she's had a lot of injury problems.

Would LOVE to see her get back to form, but somehow I doubt it. When horses have been off the scene for so long, they usually don't recapture their old form.

didnt she have a long layoff then come back with a really good run in a decent sydney race before ei broke out?
