i am haveing some problems with my rateings....i am able to rate a race down to the top 4 the problem is a lot of my 4th selections win....i will list my selections for today in order of ranking and if any one has any ideas to seperate them let me know
Melb Race 2) 13-5-10-7

Melb race 6) 5-4-9-3

Melb Race 7) 3-5-13-9
3 1st 5.40 (11 was a scratching)

Syd race 6) 13-1-14-3
3 1st 7.30

Bris rcae 4) 5-11-13-9
11 1st 14.40

Bris Rcae 6) 11-3-4-5

Bris race 8) 3-10-4-13
10 1st 7.60

I know one thing that would help...if i could learn to stay away from those 3yo races they are so unprodictable

It is a combination of form/win%/Fitness/average earnings/weight

I have not listed the rateings as i don't want to give to much away...i am mainly interested in your opinions on how you would seperate these selection....or if not seperate them how maybe to bet them to the best advantage

hi shaun

I personally look for value for the win, andtake trifecta when you start juggling around too much you find that the one you shouldve left gets up other times the one you shouldve juggled gets up.

If you like have a look at my ratings and see if that order helps or not.

Really depends on time that you have and confidence in your selection process.

Depends on your strike rate and prices but a great staking plan would probably solve the dilemma for you.

There are many staking plan experts here im not one of them im sure they would come up with something for multiple betting.

Do you play the trifectas Shaun?

best of luck
kind regards
ubetido

first, i would eliminate the least paying, then see what's there with the other 3 ???

then, possibly eliminate the most paying, then there are 2 left, i guess 20 units on each to win??

This method has many good winning days.
The idea here is price your horse to your ranking order.

1.$3.90
2.$4.70
3.$6.00
4.$7.70

The selection has to be greater than this price, just before jump

If one or more qualify , back the lot , betting the same amt. on each, level stakes.

It will always show a profit as long as you can pick the winners.

You will find the best value will come from races with 11-15 runners.
Where the Fav is paying $3.90 or more.
