It looks like I'll have to get around to doing some research for you Pauls! I've looked back at the old thread and this was my post back on the 17th of February:

"Okay, following on from Jacfin's post about days since last start, here's something you might be interested in. Here are the Number 1 system selections in races of 1300m or more which had their last start less than 10 days ago:

Nov20 Wild Classic PLA 1.40
Nov22 Zazzman WON 4.80/2.10
Nov29 Make a Stand* WON 6.10/1.80
Nov29 No Deposit WON 5.10/2.00
Dec7 Sensache PLA 1.60
Dec14 Decked In Diamonds* WON 4.30/1.60
Dec19 Lookout* WON 2.10/1.60
Dec21 Tiff's Mate WON 4.10/2.00
Dec23 Stage King WON 3.50/1.70
Jan3 Silver Birch WON 3.50/1.60
Jan3 Pride Of Archway PLA 1.80
Jan8 Fair Copy* WON 3.20/1.30
Jan9 Twin Island* WON 4.20/1.80
Jan10 Si Senor WON 4.60/1.60
Jan18 Ted's Choice UNP
Jan29 Mr Avalanche WON 2.40/1.50
Feb15 Grand Success PLA 1.80

Okay, don't get too excited because I don't honestly expect that sort of strike rate to continue, but it is certainly something to think about."

Now, as I said in my post, I didn't expect that sort of strike rate to continue and I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't have, but even something just approaching those results would be brilliant, so I will try to get around to looking at it for you and see how it has gone in the last few months.
