Default Victorian Saddle Cloth Numbers.

Here is something that intrigues me and I do not know if it is just the way the cards are falling or their is a long term trend or is it just me.

I noticed over the Melbourne Carnival the number of higher TAB saddle cloth numbers seemed to be less then other States. Is there a place or can somebody run it through their data base and compare the result with NSW and QLD tracks.

It seems to me that the handicapping is mot as consistent in Victoria as compared to NSW and Queensland.

Am I immagining it or are the percentages close to the same.

Pete

Because we cannot edit after seven minutes I have to correct what I said to what I meant regarding Vic Tab Numbers. Their seems a lot of high numbered winners compared to other States, eg nos, 10 out.

If anyone can confirm or otherwise it would be appreciated.

normally over your Spring Carnival the fields are generally a lot larger especially in comparison to the other states.

Hence you would have to calculate the average field size vs the average TAB number.

I was of the opinion the same handicapping method was used for each state. I could be wrong.
